  • We will have the Joint Choir singing the “Hallelujah’ chorus in Messiah on Christmas Sunday (12/22) conducted by Mr. Sidney Wong. The rehearsal dates are 10/27, 12/15 The time will be from 12:45 pm to 1:30 pm. You are welcome to come and sing along.
  • The Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, 11/9. Please pray that the Lord would use us to outreach to the community and start building relation with them.
  • The Board of Trusting will meet on Sunday, 10/27, at 1:00 pm. in the chapel. Members are Rev. Ernest Kan, Mr. Joe Yee, Mr. Ken Yee, Mr. Wai Kwong Chia, Mr. Wai Mar, Mr. Vincent Lau, Mrs. Mimi Leung, Mr. Raymond Law, Mr. Bob Ye and Mr. Johnny Lau.
  • The Finance Committee will meet on Sunday, 11/3, at 1:00 pm. in the chapel. Members are Rev. Ernest Kan, Mr. Stephen Lai, Mr. Eugene Wong, Mr. Edward Wong, Mr. Brendan Huang, Mrs. Christin Wong, Mr. Joe Yee, Mrs. Junie Collins and Mrs. Kathy Lau.
  • The Administrative Board is going to meet on Sunday, 11/10, at 1:00 pm. in the chapel. Lunch will be provided.
  • Our 2019 Annual Church Conference will be held on November 23rd, Sunday, at 2:30 pm at Temple United Methodist Church (1111 Junipero Serra Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94132 ). It will be presided by circuit pastor. Please reserve the date & plan on attending.
  • In light of the resistance to the decision of the 2019 Special General Conference in favor of the Traditional Plan, the National Chinese Caucus (NCC) of The United Methodist Church makes this open statement: We support the decision of the 2019 Special General Conference and disagree with all actions contrary to the 2019 decision. (41 yes, 0 no, and 3 abstain).
  • Mrs. Celia Kan was elected as the Secretary of the NCC and Rev. Ernest Kan was elected as the Chair of the Western Jurisdiction of the Chinese Caucus.
  • The Daylight Savings Time will end on next Sunday (11/3). Please move your clock back one hour on Saturday night (11/2) before going to bed.
