We would like to thank Mr. Eugene Wong for preaching at the English Sunday Service, and Mr. Jason Huang for preaching at the 10:15am and 11:30am Chinese Sunday Service. May the Lord reward them.
There will be a prayer meeting at the Chinese worship service every Sunday. If you would like to participate, please gather in the chancel area of the sanctuary. There are yellow prayer request cards at the back of the pew. Please write your prayer request and place it in the offering plate or give it to an usher for the Prayer Team and Pastor.
The English Mission Committee will be meeting on 5/21, Sunday, at 2:00pm in 4/F.
The Luncheon Fellowship will be on 5/28 after the 11:30am Chinese Speaking Worship Service. Please mark your calendar and plan to stay for the fellowship with your church family.
Summer Church Retreat will be held from August 6 to 9 at Redwood Christian Park. Miss Katrina Sun is the Chairperson of the Retreat. Please pray for the committee. The speaker for the Chinese group will be Rev. Homan Yeung and the speaker for the English group will be Pastor Tim Leung. Please pray.
There is a hearing on the opening of medical marijuana outlet (MCD) at 2505 Noriega Street in San Francisco. We have members living in tis area who might be affected by this presence. The Chinese Christian Union has learnt about this issue and would encourage member churches to voice out our view on these. Please use the information inserted in this program to voice your concern.
Pastor and Celia Kan is taking time off from Thursday, May 18th – 21st attending Celia’s nephew’s graduation ceremony in Austin, TX. Please pray.
