- The Board of Directors of the Chinese Christian Union will meet at the Independent Baptist Church on September 19, 2017 at 2:00PM. Mrs. Betty Chia, Mr. Thomas Xiao, and Rev. Ernest Kan are our delegates.
- The 10th Comprehensive Art Class session began on Sept 2, 2017 to December. Class hours are every Saturday from 10:30AM to 12:00PM, total of 12 weeks. Please contact Ernest Huang for more info.
- We’ll have our All-Church Luncheon today after the Chinese-Speaking Worship Service at approximately 12:45PM. Please stay for the simple lunch prepared for all and enjoy the fellowship with your church family.
- We are collecting donations to support the hurricane victims. Please write down “Church Fund – Hurricane Victims” on the envelopes. Please write the check payable to “CUMC. Donations will then be collected and sent to the UMCOR to help the victims.
- Nominating Committee will meet on 10/1 at 1:00PM in the Chapel. Members of the committee are Ms. Christie Ng, Mrs. Miranda Wong, Mrs. Donna Yee, Mrs. Gayle Kong, Miss Katrina Sun, Mrs. Holly Yee, Mrs. Dianne Wong, Mr. James Huang, Mrs. Josephine Wong, and Rev. Ernest Kan (Chair).
- We will host the Mid-Autumn Festival in our church on 10/1 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. We want to outreach to the community and preach the gospel to them. We will have game booths: art, ping pong ball in bucket, rings in bottle, marble in water with chopsticks. We will also have snacks and drinks. For details and volunteering, please contact Mr. Edward Wong. Please pray and invite your family and friends to come.
- The Methodist Fellowship will meet on 10/8 in the Chapel from 2:00PM to 3:30PM.
- There will be free flu shots on September 24th from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at our church.
Spring Festival 2017

Spring is finally here! We will be celebrating the season by having our annual Spring Festival! There is no entry fee and all the activities are FREE! This event is perfect for kids of all ages, so come join us for an afternoon of arts & crafts, food, and fun.

Winter Festival 2015 is Almost Here!

Winter Festival 2015 is almost here! We invite the entire Chinatown community to come join in on the festivities. It will be held in the Social Hall – 1st floor of our church – on December 19th, 2015 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
What goes on during Winter Festival? We will have free food/drinks, prizes, and games! There will also be a photo booth for those who want to take a picture with Santa! And don’t forget to stick around until the end for the raffle prizes!
