Praise to the Lord. Our Vacation Bible School was successfully held. Thanks to the leadership of Mr. Dexter Wong and Mr. Brandon Wong, and the volunteers. May the Lord reward them. Please continue to pray for the students that the gospel seed be grown in their hearts. Also, pray for our volunteers that their spiritual life will get stronger.
The Joint Choir please meet in the sanctuary at 12:45 pm to 1:30 pm for the 150th Anniversary Celebration choir rehearsal.
The Finance Committee is going to meet today at 12:45-1:45 pm in the Chapel. The Committee also invites the 150th Anniversary Committee to join.
The Chinese Ministry Committee is going to meet today, 8/12, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel. All who want to help promote the Chinese Ministry are welcome to the meeting and share their idea.
Thanks to Ms. Monica Le who will prepare the luncheon for the people who attend the Finance Committee and Chinese Ministry Committee. Please understand that this is not an all-church luncheon
We’ll have our All-Church Luncheon next Sunday, Aug 19th, shortly after the Chinese-Speaking Worship Service at approx. 12:45 pm.
Please stay for the simple lunch prepared for all and enjoy the fellowship with your church family.
Co-sponsored by Walgreen & Chinese U.M.C will hold the Flu Shot Clinic on 9/9 and 10/14 between 1:00-4:00 pm. in the Social Hall. Please bring your picture ID. If you have any questions, you may ask the pharmacist on duty.
The Chinese group will be going to join the Street Meal Program sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley (2407 Dana St, Berkeley, CA 94704) on Saturday, 8/25, from 3:00-6:30 pm. We need at least 12 people. Please sign up with Ms. Christie Ng if you want to share the love of the Risen Lord to the homeless.
