The Administrative Board will meet on Sunday, 8/25, at 1:00 pm. in the chapel.
We will have the Joint Choir singing on Christmas Sunday (12/22) conducted by Mr. Sidney Wong. Details will be announced.
CUMC would like to sponsor two tables, each cost $1,500/10 people, to support the ministry at the Gum Moon Women’s Hostel at their Dinner Fund Raising on Saturday, 8/24, at Far East Café, 631 Grant St, in Chinatown. Anyone who would like to support this ministry is welcome to make a check of $150/person payable to CUMC to reserve a seat at the dinner from Rev. Ernest Kan. Please state clearly on the outside of the envelop the donation is for Gum Moon.
The National Chinese Caucus of the United Methodist Church will host the 2019 National Chinese Caucus Leadership Conference/Convocation on 10/18-20 at Queens Village Church (220-20 94th Drive, Queens Village, NY 11428). The theme is on “Forming the Leadership of a New Generation”. The Early Bird registration fee is $100.00/person. After 9/20/2019 will be $120.00. Closing date of registration is 10/4/2019.
There will be a flu shot clinic hosted by Walgreens on August 25th and September 8th. Both sessions will run from 1pm-4pm. Please bring your ID and insurance card. Any questions should be directed to the pharmacist on duty.
